Engine Computer Swap

is there a difference between a 1995 Engine Computer and a 1997 Engine computer or is it a straight swap?

They are plug & play as far as hook-up, however, the 95 ecu. has an inverted firing order (you will need to swap the 2 wires on each coil to the opposite coil). The cas.signal is also inverted, however, it will run that way. You could also swap #`s 1 & 2, &#`s 3 & 4 injector plugs to accomodate the inverted cas. signal to keep the inj. timing correct.
