im in the market for a exhaust

but i see most people like to see there dsm with a low tone exhaust

where is with me im looking for a higher tone (dont worrie not civic style)

can an exhaust really change the tone of you car

i also want to retaint the power that an exhaust can give you

humm just wondering

thanks guys

The main problem i see with a high pitch exhaust note is the fact that the turbo muffles the exhaust note. If you have ever heard your car running just a downpipe there are few things working against you. It sounds like a whistling tractor and it isn't that high pitched in the first place when compaired to NA cars. Different tones from different exhaust manufacturers are very common, look up some of the sound clips on this board or video clips on the net to decide which is to your liking. Just a little advice for better answers from the members around here is to write in full scentences and use the search function in the forums. There is a handfull of exhaust sound and selection threads already floating around.
