Will a old broken manifold gasket cause slow spool up, backfire, and the sound of a boost leak? Thanks. also my car is STILL dying after boost when i let the car revs drop to idle. Thanks again

If you're talking intake manifold, then *yes* for sure. If you're talking exhaust manifold, then we'll need some more info. . .
