can i keep my stock hks bov on a greddy fmic im about to buy from extremepsi?

cause they're selling them in packages, and i dont really want the rs bov.

i was just wondering if that was possible.

You have a stock HKS Bov?

You can take the Greddy UICP to a shop and have them weld a HKS Bov or get a welded flange pipe off of ebay. www.dejonpowerhouse.com makes adapters that go from Greddy > 1G and 1G > HKS.

FYI - The Greddy FMIC comes flanged for a Greddy BOV.

Exactly, you can have a HKS flange welded on or buy a 1g to HKS adapter as new holes cane be drilled to mate to a Greddy flange.

Now my question is why are you going with a Greddy FMIC setup? For the price they want for them, there are alot better choices. And now there are options that are much cheeper & still a much better setup.

Edit: Is the deal the $1220 for the Greddy FMIC & the BOV? If so there is no way I'd pay anyweres close to that for the Greddy setup. It was a nice setup 10 years ago but alot has changed since then. With that kind of money you could buy a DV/DT Fab setup & there is no comparison between any parts of the kits. If you look here these are much better setups & will run you less:

Or you can even seach the "Ebay FMIC" setups on here (long threads), which are much much less then a Greddy setup & I'd still pick it over the Greddy anyday.

compltely over looked when i read it about it being a greddy fmic. I just thought he was looking into a kit. Sorry for mis-info. Ill slow down when i read next(kinda hard at work though gotta do things sneaky;) )

um.. if your profile is correct couoldnt your money be used for other more important things?

true ... but i was just in a rush to post. im going to take a few pics and edit everything soon. bought the car as is with a hell of alot of mess ups and leaks.

just trying to price out a few things.

the reason i went for the greddy fmic was because it looked pretty convenient. from the install manual, very few fabricating. just some sanding and cutting.
