where does the oil gauge plug hook to? Pic inside

yeah but on that brass thing, there is nothing. Like no plug.

the wires must be routed wrong or somthing. If you look on the plug and look at the nub you will see how they go together.

That's a very bad angle.
Judging by how short that wire is, I think it's safe to say that it's for the dummy light. I don't think you have a dummy light sensor there though. It might be tapped elsewhere or you just don't have one because I just don't see it up front like in Luv2Rallye's first link.

That longer wire goes to the pressure sender. BTW, I've used a female spade connector on the pressure sender wire. I had to squeeze it a bit (blue ones, 18 awg perhaps, I forgot) because it was a tad loose. Slid it on and has been there for about a year now.

You're missing the pigtail that goes to the sender:

Do you even have the oil light sensor on the housing? Your pic doesn't show it...like I said, very bad angle.

BTW, to make sure you're on the same page as the rest of us. The yellow thing that sticks out of the housing is the OIL PRESSURE SENDER and the little stubby thing by the oil line is the dummy light sensor as depicted in the pic that Deviant posted.

Now, if you don't have the dummy light sensor, there's no need to worry about a pigtail because that should come with the dummy light sensor (oem) and not the plug. The plug allows it to come off with that little tab (look closely at the pic). If you're worried about a pigtail for the oil pressure sender....you don't need a pigtail, you can just splice on a female spade connector, squeeze the curved parts a bit and slide it onto the OP sender's tip.
