Car jerks and clicks in 1st gear

In first gear when I get out of a parking lot, I barely press the throttle to get the car going and something makes a loud click noise and the car will jerk. So I gotta press the gas again to get it back goin. What gives? It happened after I installed my 1g tb so maybe my tps is out of adjustment...??

Well for a more specific detail. I'l be going 5-10mph, it will hesitate randomley/make a click noise, then go back again.
