winnipeg,
I need to know if there is any way to richen up a stock fuel system. My car is stock ecept for free mods. I fixed a bunch of holes in my i/c and have removed and reinstaled all my i/c pipes looking for boost leaks, as far I can tell all of them have been fixed. I pulled my plugs today and all four are very white. I also rewired my fuel pump for good messure. My boost is just over 14psi till 5000 then it drops to 11-12psi till red line. Rite now my only problems with the car are a weak alt and one bad ground on #3 injector that I tied into #4. I traced that back to the balest ceramic thing on the firewall. I'm stumped with this, it has to be something dumb that I'm missing. This is also running on new filter, plugs and 94 octane fuel. Any help will be thankful.

I have plans for a high output alt and I have a new fuel pump on the shelf in the garage. Maybe I'll get a high output pump too, just for good messure. I've heard that there is a screw on the mass that you can turn to adjust fuel but I have no idea how many turns would be good and it's filled with silicone right now.

I wouldn't touch the screw. You need to build a boost leak tester, I think you have more boost leaks.

The car is now up on blocks for the rest of summer and most of winter, it is now my project car. I will be tearing down the intake and fuel system, it will be all getting replaced with hard pipes, new pump, new manifold, and hopfully injecters, along with getting trans
rebuilt. I hope buy next summer it will be ready for the track. Thanks for the input and I will try to keep posting with my progress. It's going to be a slow build, I have a baby on the way, so the car is now my second favorite thing.
