I'm putting on a 2g manifold soon to replace my cracked 1g unit. Has anyone ever used VHT spraypaint on their exhaust manifold? If so, how well did it work out?

Also, i have 3" DP, 2.5" cat (dont ask), and im getting 3" catback with 3" muffler, stock intake, 14b, MBC, stock 02 housing. With these mods, will i get boost creep/boost spike? i dont want to remove the turbo to port the wastegate passage b/c im extremely busy with work and other things.

As long as the temp specifications on the can fit between the range of summer boosting exhaust temperatures I think you should be fine. Most of those products are good though and hold up if applied correctly.

I used the VHT flameproof on my manifold , it hasnt been on long but it hasnt burnt off or discolored at all.

Manifolds tend to get pretty hot, so it will eventually come off. I got about 2 summers use out of mine then there were some bare spots. Just make sure you put it on nice & thin, just basically enough for the colour to cover. If you put it on too thick it will come off in no time.

As for the creep, its hard to say for sure but more then likely you'll be fine since your running a cat.
