Ok, so for the past few weeks I have been battling the massive massive boost leaks I've had after installing my FMIC kit. Originally I held 8psi. So then I put new gaskets from the TB to the TB elbow, exhaust manifold to turbo, and turbo to the o2 housing. Tightened up all the clamps and put a few t-bolt clamps in weak areas. Some new vacuum hoses and zip ties and a new bov that was tested at over 20psi. Did another boost leak test today and it finally reached 19psi and held. After I stopped pumping air into the system, the pressure dropped faster than it should. I used the soapy water method on vacuum hoses and couplers and found nothing. I heard hissing coming from what seemed to be the catch can and by the intake manifold/injectors. The catch can (installed before I bought the car) has one vacuum hose from the valve cover to the catch can and the rest is blocked off. Shouldn't it go somewhere?

Any suggestions? The car pulls a little harder than previously with holding 8psi, but it still feels slow. Any help is appreciated guys. Thanks.

Take a look at the injector seals, egr, hoses, t/b shaft etc. Find the hissing sometimes you can't see the bubbles. So wave your hand around to see if you feel it, or if the pitch changes.

Just wanted to post that I found the two places it was leaking. The gasket from the TB elbow to the TB was not sealed properly and leaking and the gasket from the IC pipe to my BOV was also leaking. RTV to the rescue!! :D

I run a line from my catch can back to the stock location on the intake pipe.
