so i just finished everything up on my car i have a freshly rebuilt motor, new rings, bearings. i put on a 20g turbo external wastegate, and all that good stuff. now the car runs but it drivers very rough and has NO power and backfires like insane amounts and idles really high if at all. i threw a p1400 which i looked up to be the MDP sensor..... but can that really make my car run this bad???? please help!! also i dont think i hooked up the tial correct.

just added some pictures of under my hood

Your car defenitly needs tunning. Replace the sensor which is at fault. Also I see that you have no modifications listed in your profile. What is your fuel system setup. Injectors, fuel pump, what do you use to tune the fuel system with ?

The plug wires go from the coil pack to the corresponding cylinder's? More information is definately needed to help proper diag. of this problem. How much FP do you have? What's the A/F ratio? If its backfiring its most likely rich, and exhaust fumes have lots of HC's( hydro-carbon's=unburned fuel) in them, and the HC's are lighting off in the exhaust when they get some O2 from a possible slight exhaust leak.

sorry about the vaugeness, i am running stock boost, so i am running all the stock fuel settings for now. all the plugs and wires are in correctly, howver i am really worried i hooked up the mbc/tial 38mm wrong, ill put up some pics later....
