First let me start out by explaining a few things, then I will get to my problem.

Mods are:
chipped ecu for 550's
550 injectors
16g/18g turbo
fmic
safc
wideband

First I installed my FMIC kit and found that I had some major boost leaks. It only held 8psi. So I ordered some t-bolt clamps and gaskets for the tb to tb elbow, bov, exhaust mani to turbo, and turbo to o2 housing. Installed all gaskets properly, installed t-bolt clamps. Put everything back together and checked for leaks and everything. The car idled fine previous to this endeavor and the afr was in the 15's. However I don't know how accurate my wideband is...it's an NGK Powerdex. After doing all this, the car started up pretty well at first. Couple stutters, but it found its idle and was ok. All of a sudden it idles lower and starts to (what i would describe as) choke. I check the AFR and it's bouncing between high 9's and low 10's!! Vacuum normally is at like -22, but now is bouncing between -14 and -16. I checked for any major boost leaks. I didn't touch the injectors or SAFC in the process. I am completely stumped...any ideas???

I have no idea....I think my car is possessed. Started it up this morning and ran 100%!! AFR was fine, vacuum back to normal. Maybe a loose connection somewhere. Anyway, sorry to take up space.

Do you have a high flow fuel pump. I had a problem similar to your problem after i put a relay in for the fuel pump. I did not know the previous owner had a HP 255 walbro fp in it. It was overrunning the stock fpr. Just an idea.

Did the car chug when you first started it up? I have that problem with my car, until its warmed up it runs like crap. Its due to some failed sensor, so warm up enrichment is off. You can physically hear the car when its ready to drive.

no, the weird thing is it started up fine at first. a little hesitation since it hadn't been started in like 2 weeks, but once combustion happened, it was golden for about a minute. then started to run like poop. tried revving it, etc, same crappy idle, AFR, and vacuum. then this morning it started up perfect! unfortunately i also found out my cv boot was ripped.
