Yup, I'm a newbie 95 Talon TSI AWD owner. I bought a dead Eclipse GS a couple months ago, threw a motor in it, and loved driving it. So I sold it and bought a turbo the same week.

Anyway, my stock flexpipe was completely rotted. So I bought a 3" Tsudo downpipe off Ebay. I went to bolt it up last night, and found that it was about 2.5" too long to bolt up to the stock exhaust. I know, 3" downpipe with stock exhaust makes no sense, but I was replacing the necessities and doing maintenance first, then upgrades as money permits.

So, do I have to hack and re-weld my stock exhaust? Or, what exhaust will bolt up to the Tsudo downpipe on a GSX/AWD?

For those of you that have the Tsudo DP on a GSX, what catbacks are you using?

Thanks so much for all the info. I've been lurking, learning, and searching this site since I bought my GS.

Thanks,
Bryce Hodgeman

Check out this thread, it might help:

I noticed the ebay downpipes for 95-99 GSXs are full 3" (not counting before the flex, which is normally almost always 2.5 unless you have some custom o2 eliminator, 3" o2 housing, vband 3" from the turbo downpipe etc), it doesnt even neck down where it connects to the catback like the FWD ebay downpipes, if thats the one you have, it should mate up to most catbacks. Double check with that thread and ask, or someone might have already mentioned what fits. Worse case just bring it to a muffler shop.
