How bad is it?
If its not real bad more than likely DSM syndrom

I believe it could, but I would first check around your throttle body for any leaks. You should also look at your base idle set screw, it could of backed out completly or the o-ring that goes around it might not be sealing correctly. Also check you ISC, that will cause idle surge as well.

Does the car idle differently after the car is warmed up? Most likely its the ISC.
