I have a 98 talon n/t. It has a nx 75 wet shot. The local track here is only an 1/8th mile and the best time I could muster is 10.43. Is it just me or is that very poor? All I could do is spin and hop. I know I could use some polyurethane motor mounts and some better tires. Does anybody have advice on launching a FWD? I cant seem to find the spot between spinning and bogging. Also, Does anybody have a tire they recommend for the track? I imagine I should stay away from slicks, but maybe a drag radial?

The nitrous is activated at WOT. I got serious bog when I launched that low. It did work a little but there is not enough room in the 1/8 to catch up on a slow launch. Too bad I cant race from a roll :)
