i broke a bolt off in the exaust side of my turbo plus i noticed it had a crack in it i have another one on the same turbo but i have the v-band off and am unsure how to seperate them any help thanks !!!
 
Provided you have the downpipe or the o2 housing off, there's nothing else holding the turbine housing onto the turbo. You can try a dead blow hammer or a rubber mallet, just make sure you don't drop the housing onto the turbine wheel, you want to carefully slide it off. You don't want to damage the turbine wheel. You could also try some penetrating oil to soften up the carbon deposits that build up over time.

When putting it back on, pay attention to the alignment pin that ensures the housing is mounted in the correct position.
