My car has vibrations at idle after dam and springs install and timing kinda slipped but lined it back up and it is right, but could my bs belt have skipped, just curious becasue i have never heard or can find someone who had it skip a tooth. It's not 180 out becasue the vibration is more like a misfire than anythign and yes i checked my cas.

More likely snapped than skipped. I would recommend removing the cover and checking it out.

i thought when your bs belt broke it was just liek the timing and you usually hit a valve to a piston or something? My car drives fine idle isnt very bouncy or anything. Also typically i believe bs belts snapping result in vibrations above 2k and 4k for the most of it. Mine is only under 1100 and i can only notice it my steering wheel, turbo timer, and a little noise from my glove box area.

When the "B" belt breaks. It may not affect anything else. Idle has a little more vibration and maybe a couple other spots in the rpm band.

Even though it didn't damage your timing belt (if in fact you broke the belt), it may still get dragged in. Mine was pulled up into the upper middle zone of the timing cover when I found it. I guessed the day it happened that was the problem. It was stupid to leave it for so long but I convinced myself that if it didn't do any damage when it happened, it was probably okay for a while.

Yeah, it's a pain to remove the crank pulley and lower cover but if you can prevent a broken timing belt it would be well worth it. If I'm wrong I'll buy you a bear next time you're in town. If I'm right, can buy me one.
