Can you explain what you mean a little better. Im assuming you mean how much boost you want to run? You need to buy a boost controller. Before you buy that though you need a boost gauge. Before you do anything though, I suggest a lot of reading on what your doing.

ok i read that the stock turbo pushes like 5 or 6 psi but is able to push 7 or 8 with out a boost gauge and controller can you tune your turbo for a higher boost

Well first off, the stock turbo runs at 12 psi. You got a 2g dsm, so anything more then 12 with the stock blow off valve will leak anyways so there no point in turning it up right now.

no you cannot turn it up without a boost controller. Theres ways to get more out of it though, like removing the bcs. Read the tech/diy and you will learn alot. I know you think im an idiot and it sounds so boring, but you really need to just read a lot of stuff.

no i dont think your an idiot if anything when it comes to imports in the idiot i know muscle cars with that you dont have turbos innercoolers if you want 500hps you buy a 502 you dont need all this stuff so i appericate any help

You don't REMOVE the BCS at all. On a 2g car, the BCS must remain plugged into the electrical socket to prevent a CEL from popping up, as usually happens. There IS a restrictor in the BCS that you can remove that has been shown to increase boost 1-2psi. BUT, without proper maintenance done on the car first, and without the proper supporting mods, and without a logger, simply increasing the boost is a very dangerous route to take.

I run a vacuum line from the jpipe to my wastegate (thats somewhere around 12), on my 1g. No bcs however, I bought the car with none.

Listen to this man. He's a wiseman for a reason. ;)

Don't do ANY sort of modification to your car until you get a logger, and do some research into these cars. Doing so (even the most insignificant modification) could wind up being detrimental to your car. I would strongly suggest you listen to MrBoxx
