So there is what has happened and what I have checked. About a month ago I was driving home form out of town when my engine started to feel like it was miss firing. So I pulled over to check it and at idle it seemed ok. So I started back down the road and it didn't want to excelerate hardly any. Knowing that this was my only way home I went really slow back into town. Once I got into town it died and didn't want to start at all. So we towed it home. From that point on I have been checking thing to try and find the problem. First thing we checked was timing to see if it jumped a tooth. All of the timing marks line up perfect. Next we checked to spark plugs and pack to see if we were geting a spark and yes we had a good spark to all of them. Then we checked fuel. We were getting fuel to the rail and the plugs were wet after turning over the car. We then checked compression. Keeping in mind this was on a cold engine we got 138, 140, 135, 136. A little low but the engine was cold. All of the ic piping is connected and we have tried resetting the ecu. Nothing. It turns over and tries to start but it will not. Please give me some ideas. Thanks.

Check the TPS (throttle position sensor). I've seen them break and stick at 100% throttle causing the car not to start.

Does the car try to fire? Sputter or anything? Change the plugs, they are probably fouled. Compression isnt low enough to make it not run.

Usually if the plugs are soaked, something either isnt firing or no compression. Check to make sure you have spark again, replace the plugs and gap them to .028, check compression again and try to start. See if that helps.

When we tested the fuel on the plugs, they plug wires were not attached. I know the plugs are good. I replaced they 2000 miles ago. It trys to fire up and rolls over hard, but nothing. I will check the TPS, but do you have any other ideas.

don't feel bad ### my cars doing the same thing... only thing i can tell you to check other than the TPS is the CAS (cam angle sensor)... and check the timing, with a light to make sure its firing at the right times... if you figure out whats wrong pm me and maybe mine is doing the same thing
