porting and polishing

I know porting intake manifolds and all that is "good" for airflow improvement, but exactly how much of a gain will u get by porting and polishing manifolds?
please n eone let me know from personal experiences, because I just bought a rotary dremel and I'm about to get started on a project manifold.

It depends on how well it was done, size of the turbo, psi you are running etc. Take your time and make sure you do it correctly.
