AFPR Noise

I'm running an Aeromotive FPR and it makes a rattling sound. It sounds like a check valve bouncing back and forth, like if you shake your PCV valve. Normal? Its only been on the car for like 3 days and it was brand new...from SBR of course..

"Rattling" - like something is loose and randomly moving around? I know when I was installing my Evo 8 fuel pump, the check valve (not completely sure of its proper name) sometimes moved back-n-forth, and sometimes didn't. It depended on the vacuum inside the pump. Have you tested out the AFPR yet? If so, have you noticed any abnormalities (other than the noise)?

Hey man, Woostah's not far away. I just did a boost leak test and its hissing out of the set screw hole on top as well. Maybe I have to get some thread sealer. Once I set it to 44 psi, i really don't have to change it again. I hate adjustable crap.

Try using some teflon tape on the top. Mine never rattled like that, I set it to stock 43psi and had no problems. Deffinately shouldn't have anything loose inside of the Aeromotive.

your fuel pressure goes down when vacuum is applied right?
