Need help with "What Comes Next"

I've come to a time where I can't decide where to go next along my upgrade path. I have a few options.:confused:

1.) Buy ECU+ for logging and tuning and then get fuel pump (around $650)
2.) Buy SBR Manifold ($250+ i think)
3.) Buy Bushur Downpipe and High flow cat ($400)
4.) Save and buy Evo 3 or Big T28 and run it at low boost for now (between $650-900)

Anyone have any helpful advice for me?
 
I say get some kind of management. It's nice to know what is goin on inside of your engine. I would def. do that before you get the turbo. Do it right the first time, and there won't be a second time.
 
by looking at what you've done so far to your car..i would get the down pipe and upgrade your fuel pump if you havent done so yet. i would wait on the tuning management since you still have the stock turbo and injectors. i wouldnt get a manifold since you will still be using your stock turbo with it. i would most def go with the downpipe!
 
Skip the manifold, the 2g one is fine. But if you do decide to get a manifold I would look into one from FP.

I would do the exhaust and downpipe first. Then next I would go with tuning and a fuel pump. Wait to get the turbo until you have a few more supporting mods.
 
Management/logging. On my stock car, I was knocking and couldn't turn up the boost too much b/c of boost leaks. It's invaluable to be able to see what's going on with the car and helps troubleshooting tremendously.

Tough one. Once you buy #3 your gonna need #1 anyway. #4 is for sure the last item.
#2 is a big waste of money, don't even bother. My vote is: 3,1,4
 
Get a ecu+ and a cheap 3" dp (150) and a magnaflow 3" cat (70 bucks) ..then save for the turbo.
 
I think it's worth something that the veterans here are saying to go with Engine Management. I don't think a Down pipe should cost that much either... so find a cheap one (after all it's a freaking pipe) but spend the money on Management, and not a chip... a true Standalone! =)

You'll be satisfied when everytime you mod your car you are able to maximize your power by tuning the heck out of it.

After all a true tuner doesn't simply 'bolt on'... they tune!
