need help asap

im leaking gear oil i dont know if its coming from the transmission or trans-x. i was wondering if i could on bolt the trans-x put the car on jack stands and put in gear drive it and see if it leaks or will that mess something up thanks for your help guys

did u check the input shaft seals?

i would jack the car up try and find where its leaking from before you start unbolting anything..it could jus be an easy fix.

i forgot to mention that i replaced all the seals when i installed the clutch last week it looks like the output shaft seal on the tranny or the input on the trans-x is leaking idont know which one but thanks guys back to my question would it be fine to do that or will i mess some shit up
