I'm currently looking to buy a new downpipe and high flow cat for ym car. right now i have a 3" HKS HI-power cat-back on my car. However, the piping is smaller for the first 16" so it can bolt up to the stock cat. I was looking at the Buschur Racing Catalytic converter and Downpipe. Would i need to buy the 2.5" kit to bolt up to my exhaust? Also does anyone have expirience with these products?

Thanks, Andy

Ha thats far from an all out performance beast my friend.

I was just thinking that buying a cat along with the DP might tack on more money than it would to just have a muffler shop weld in a straight piece of 3inch piping.

Do you have emissions regulations or anything where you cant get away with no cat?

my dad used to have a 1990 vette with no mufflers but it had resonators i guess and it passed emmisions. Before I owned the eclipse i had a 1985 Mustang GT with headers and straight through pipes and i was no where close to passing emissions so i'd rather play it safe and get a high flow cat.
