Greddy TT w/ Factory Alarm?

I'm about to buy a Greddy Full Auto TT with the Extreme PSI harness.. Has anyone installed this with the factory alarm? Does the alarm still work?
 
Many have installed it with the factory alarm, because many turbo 2gs come with factory alarm, and as many of us will tell you... your factory alarm WILL NOT PROPERLY, but still will work depending on how you arm it.

If you arm your factory alarm while its counting down, when it hits 0, the alarm will no longer be armed, even worse, depending on how you wired the turbo timer, the DOORS WILL UNLOCK!

The only way you can have your cake and eat it too, is wait until the turbo timer times down and shuts down the car, THEN arm the car, but this defeats the purpose of the turbo timer from you to not have to wait.

Good luck, if your turbo is oil and water cooled, turbo timing is debatable.

Mnetwork, the instruction in this link works and has worked for me from the first day I installed my Greddy FATT + stock alarm.
Debatable for an oil/water cooled turbo, sure, but you'll most likely upgrade sometime down the road anyway, why not take an extra step to ensure that your old turbo still works fine so that you can still sell it as a working turbo? On top of that, you'll already have a TT for that oil cooled turbo.
Seriously, debatable or not, coolant can't cool your turbo if the coolant isn't cool enough to cool the turbo anyway. How can it, it's not circulating, just like the oil isn't circulating.
 
So you're saying those vfaqs work with the greddy one? I don't see why the turbo timer would matter since you're working with only the car wiring.. the only thing you do is snip the one wire going to the turbo timer itself, but is there a blue wire to snip on the greddy tt as well??
