High idle

This is driving me nuts.
1500+- rpm
6bolt2g conversion,
I have no boost leaks,
Base fuel pressure is 42 lbs ,
Base timing is set at 5º,
Afc is zero out,
Biss is all the way in,
Throttle flap is 100% closed
ISC Ohmed out to spec,
Tps is set to spec,
New coil pack,
New plugs and wires....
I just cant figure this out
This weekend im goin to be borrowing a data logger from a friend.. Is there anything I should be lookin for.

check your timing at the cast. it is probably off.

The cas timing is 5 degrees BTDC...
With the 6bolt swap should my base fuel pressure be 36 or 42?

i would like to have this problem figured out also!
my car idles fine when i first start it up but when it warms up it shoots to 2000 rpms and stays there.

and all my stuff is the same as yours as in timing and what so ever.

my next thing to change the fuel pump and go with a fpr

Sounds like your ECT could be bad...
Check the resistance values when warm and cold..
They should be alot different

I even got a hold of a scan tool and tried to set my Base idle and still cant get it lower

My car also has the same idle problem, checked all sensors and they checked out ok, some say it is because I installed a balance shaft eliminator kit...does anyone think that has anything to do with it?

Check your coolant temp sensor and connection to the ECU.

Would a bad MAF cause a high idle?
Or bad o2 sensor?
