I will be installing a SSAC short route kit on my 2g A/T. I have read the write up about how to install it, i have a 14b with a SBR install kit, can i just turn the hosing that comes off the jpipe to the stock sidemount the other way and will it hook up to the SSautochrome piping? Is there anything that the write up is missing also?
Thanks alot guys.

Check out your J-pipe. I think it comes down but at more of an angle towards the passenger side of the car and the lower IC pipe is matched to that angle so that it goes into the SMIC level. If you turn that around, I think it'll be pointing into the ground. I had to get a universal kit and make my own connections. I have a FAL slim fans and its still a tight fit for the IC piping between them and the wastegate actuator.

If you are going to buy some universal kit off Ebay, careful what you buy. Make sure its bead rolled. One company that I've found that sells good stuff and good prices is Just Intercoolers. I bought all my stuff off them. I had to cut a few of the pipes and take them over to a heating/ventilation place so they could put a bead roll on some of the ends I modified. Its a lot of work, but like I said in the other thread, I think its worth the hard work to keep the bumper support. Just my .02

The j-pipe points directly down, I'm pretty sure i can just rotate the piping off the j-pipe and just cut the 2 inch reducer part off the ssautochrome pipe and take a 2 inch to 2.5 inch coupler to join them. im just worried that i will hit the transmission mount with the piping going the other direction. I wish i can find a clear picture of how people with a 14b/16g j-pipe routed to the ssautochrome piping.

Its tight in between the trans mount and the radiator fan. I actually used a 2" to 2.5" 90* coupler to connect to the IC piping, but like I said, I have slim fans. If its going to rub, just wrap it with some heat wrapping and you should be good. Do a boost check every month or so just to make sure.
