When i first got my car i put a greddy type-s BOV on it and it sounded great , whistled when let off , and performed great. One day a month or so back i was driving around giving it gas and it kind of puttered out and ever since then my BOV wont whistle any more. I just replaced it with a brand new one and all i get is a little flutter at low RPM's and maybe CHE at shift point sometimes it doesnt even sound. Ive tried a boost leak test with my old BOV and it was leaking bad , so i got the new one installed it and its the same damn deal.. Its getting kind of annoying. When i took out the stiffer of the two springs on my old BOV it whistle'd like crazy , but it felt like i was loosing power because of it being so loose maybe leaking. Is there anything i could do with this new BOV to make it work properly? Taking the stiffer spring out will most likely lead to it leaking again so im kind of stuck with idea's here. Thanks for the help!
