205/50/16 on stock rim? Or 215/50/16, hear my reasons...

Im still rollin my 1G stock 16's, and I want to go to a 50 series just for a tad of a little better look. Stuck between 215/50 or 205/50. The 205 throw the speedo off more, but I have heard back and forth arguments about the 215's on the 16X6 stock rim, but never heard any bad personal experiences. Heres what the tire calc. says....

205/50/16 = 3.2% off at 60 MPH

215/50/16 = 1.7% off at 60MPH

What to do? Are 215's really that bad?

What the... Did your first post just completely change?

Haha, yeah, sorry, I checked a tire calculator and was then more concerned with the handling of the 215 on a stock 6 inch wide rim.

I see you are 2G, so I think you have 7 inch wide rims, but not sure. Didnt know if you knew 1G's were only 16X6.But, thanks, I guess Ill just get the 215's if its safe, since the speedo will be almost right on.
