Engine Light on:

First off....About 2 weeks ago i was going up a decent sized hill in 4th gear WOT and my car like studdered and stopped boosting. Sounded like i blew off a Intercooler hose or something. got out and nothing seemed out of the ordinary, well except for that i could'nt boost past about 5 PSI without it Studdering and falling on its ass. I figured i just had a pretty bad boost leak and was going to fix it whenever i get the chance, extremely busy in the process of moving right now.
Now yesterday was driving on the highway normal speed/RPM and my check engine light came on. I took my car to Auto Zone to check the code and it came up: P0301. Not sure exactly what that code is? If anyone could give me any help at all on what this code is and what i should do to fix the problem id appretiate it alot.

AutoZone didnt tell you what the code meant?

That's really quite odd.

Anyhow, the code should be in the Chilton's manual for the car, which you should have!?!?

If not, buy one, if it for some reason isnt in there, take it to advance they can actually tell
you what the code means. That's what they did for me last time anyways.

My 2 cents...Do a boost leak check first. It's no more time consuming than changing plugs and wires.
