just did a rebuild of my motor and this are the compression number 90-90-1-90 wsht happened? if the timing belt was off by groove would that do it ! HELP ASAP!
 
I would say try a leak down tester to see if valves are hanging open...that would mean your not at TDC, and yes off on timing belt could make this happen...you havent fired it up yet have you? Also you said your motor was just rebuilt...did you do it or did you send it out? Also are you sure the guage is correct? I would grab another tester, and try it again.
 
i built it myself have done honda motors before. i just got a compression tester today. another thing is that i took one of the cams off and look to see if something was wrong well i out everything back on and now i have no compression on cyl.#4 now could it be ther lifter some of the lifter are sitting lower then others i need to get this car running asap! HELP

Yes, if your timing belt is off, your compression will be funky. The valves will be open at the wrong time.

And just like fourreG said, I hope you didnt start that engine or you may have bent some valves.
 
how much can the belt be off to bend valves? i mean if it is off it is off by one groove it that? would that make me have wierd compression?
 
Pull the valve cover and rotate the crank until none of the lobes of the cam are pressing down on therockers, regardless of TDC, or what you think is TDC. Are any valve springs will compressed? If so, you've got some bent valves and can go ahead and re-rebuild your engine..

Why would you ever want to move the cams if the timing isn't set correctly?
 
no they don't seem to be bent? could the lifter be the problem? could they be what is holding up the valves from closing all the way?
