what does this symbol mean?

its the symbol at the end of the red wire that comes out of the 2G "CRANK" ANGLE SENSOR( its a circle)... where does this wire connect to . thanks.

You can use any key-on power source, like from the power box under the hood.

Key-on power means that it only has battery voltage when the key is in the on or run position, & not live all the time, so your battery won`t get drawn dead when the key is turned off

Use a test light to probe what fuses are live with the key on, & tap one of them to power your item (use the fuse center under the hood)

In this picture the thing at the end of the red line is definately a positive power source, but if you read the diagram legend you DO NOT need that line. The dotted lines are eliminated. They are only shown for reference purposes.
