is it a bad to have a 1g throttle body on a 2g intake manifold. I put a 1g tb on because i was planning on doing a 6 bolt swap but later changed my mind.

can anything bad happen for having it on.

also when I do change it back to the 2g throttle body does anyone know of the post about the throttle body sensor, how to mount it correctly

Just port out the inlet of your 2G IM to 60mm (gasket match it to a 1G TB gasket) and continue using your 1G TB. You should have better throttle response and better top end flow this way. Here are RRE's instructions for porting the IM as well as TPS adjustment.

But if you still want to go back to your 2G TB let me know as I am looking for a 1G TB for my car.:D

Or you can do the throttlebodys.com 1g or 2g throttle body rebuild for about 140$. That is a nice way to go for nice gains. You can do that then go sheet metal manifold with the 2g TB...etc.. but yeah, it would be VERY cost effective to stay with the 1G TB and port out the IM inlet as Romeen said.

well I got it down alittle bit but my grinder bit took a shit. I think Ill just leave it how it is.
I made the metal gasket bigger so that fits fine.

I remember that I have a ported 2g tb. I dont have a 1g. so i think mine is 58mm not 60mm
