I just got a new Valve Cover on Ebay. It is the kind that says Mitsubishi on the top. But the PCV that did fit in the stock Valve Cover wont fit in the new one. The threads on the new Valve cover do not seem damaged. Do i need a different PCV? Maybe for a Galant VR4 or whatever those Valve covers came on?

Thank you

Make sure that you are threading it in at the correct angle. The valve does not thread in at a 90* angle with the side of the VC like one might expect. Rather the valve will be pointing down slightly when threaded in correctly. This picture should help. Ignore the fact that they are replacing the valve with a different fitting. It's just to show you the correct angle.

The PCV still will not go in even at that angle. Thanks though. Its almost the correct size. It must be off by a hair. The guy on eBay must have tapped it to a different size for some reason. Tapping the Valve Cover to the PCV size would not work since its bigger. Anyone else have an idea what i could do? Thanks

I finally got the problem fixed. I just used a different Valve Cover from a Friend and put it on.

Thatnk you everyone for trying to help!
