Well I installed my new Dejon 1g-my intake today, love it. But it changed the sound of my blow off valve which I like as well. But my question was sometimes when shifting from 3rd to 4th and like 3-4k rpm's it makes like a squeak noise some times. Is this normal? What should I look at to fix it if it's not. I tried searching but nothing really relevant came up.

Is it when you are on the throttle under boost? or just like a small shift? My greddy doesnt open up fully and will squeak or flutter sometimes. It takes some boost to open it up.

I usually end up shifting before I hit full boost. So maybe it's doing something similar to your Greddy then.

with my 1g bov, when i build up minimal boost and let off it makes a squeeking noise.

My Turbo XS BOV did the same thing under very little pressure. It seems to be a comon thing when not under full boost

I get the same thing... a little hooting noise under partial throttle after letting off. Odd part being, it doesn't do it all the time, and will still do it occasionally when I haven't been in boost. Since the stock 1G is a CBV (rather than a BOV) it's open under vacuum, can only guess that it closed at one point on spring pressure, then going back to idle opened it slow enough to get the vacuum to make the same noise going the other way.
