Today I got two cels one was for IAC and the other for the knock sensor. I cleaned the maf and the IAC CEL went away but the car idles like crap. The knock sensor is bad (oozing out the bad). I wanted to know if this could cause poor idle conditions?

A bad knock sensor should not have any effect at idle - the ECU ignores the knock sensor at low RPM's. A defective IAC can certainly cause a rough idle - the IAC is located at the throttle body. I was wondering why you cleaned the maf in response to the faulty IAC CEL?
