Didn't know what it was called, so I didn't know what to search really.

What is this piece, and what is it's purpose? It seems to only be partially hooked up (one hose) the other is kind of just hanging. Thanks for the help.

Edit: Can't see the pic myself don't know if you guys can. Here's a direct link http://img262.imageshack.us/my.php?image=0420071120yb0.jpg

Any how-to's for this? I have no idea what I'm doing really so any pictures or documents would be helpful.

Yeah, don't really know where the connectors are. If someone could send me a pic (I have very little knowledge on cars) it would help me greatly.

Yes that's correct the blue circle is your wastegate and the yellow circle is your lower intercooler pipe. Just pick up some vacuum line and run it from the wastegate to the licp. Make sure you keep it as short as possible and that it's going to run into your fans and try to keep it away from your lower radiator hose also. Hope that will be of some help.

So if I buy a boost controller does it connect between those two spots? Or do I have to hook it up elsewhere.

A manual boost controller will not be connected to the pre-turbo intake tract in any way. It runs from a boost reference source (any boost/"vacuum" port before the throttlebody), to the wastegate actuator port. It is form of check valve so it must be connected per the intructions atht hat point.

The stock Boost Control Solenoid is a bleeder stule valve. It bleeds the boost off so that the wastegate actuator sees a lower pressure. A good Manual Boost Controller will "vibrate" the little ball/beebee in the unit to show the wastegate actuator a lower boost. Also a good Manual Boost Controller will not function at all (stay closed and show no boost at all) until the set boost is reached, THEN the ball begins to "vibrate". This will speed spool (shorten spool time).

Ok, I'm lost now  I've read all these threads trying to figure out where the other side of the MBC goes, I keep seeing the "Jpipe" I have no idea where it is and where the nipple is on it. Does anyone have any pictures of it so I have an idea of what I'm doing? I'm so confused help!!

You asked about a manual boost controller. The stock boost control solenoid functions and is installed differently than an after market Manual Boost Controller.

Your j-pipe is the first bit of piping that comes off the turbo and sirects airflow to the intercooler. It is in the shape of a J and has a "vacuum" nipple sticking out from the bend.

Stock boost control solenoid (I had to hunt around to find this sucker:) ):
