spark plug wire differences

Is there a differences in the 2g and 1g spark plug wires?

Yes. Due to the different location of the coil packs on the 1G and 2G IM's the plug wire lengths are different. Other than length though there are no differences.

Wire Length - No.1 - 419mm or 16.5 inches
Wire Length - No.2 - 579mm or 22.8 inches
Wire Length - No.3 - 719mm or 28.31 inches
Wire Length - No.4 - 659mm or 25.94 inches



NGK ignition wires for the 2G:

Wire Length - No.1 - 339mm or 13.35 inches
Wire Length - No.2 - 459mm or 18.07 inches
Wire Length - No.3 - 539mm or 21.22 inches
Wire Length - No.4 - 599mm or 23.58 inches

Holy crap Anthony. Did you actually measure each wire from 2 different sets?

I would of let it rest at the 1G's are longer because the coil packs are located further away.

If I didn't have the numbers accessible, I probably would do something crazy like that. No, I just know where to look.
