I have a dynapak clutch installed into my car. (stock replacement) My mods are
3 inch cat back
1g bov
air intake
walbro 190
ported o2 sensor housing
evo III 16g gt turbo
evo exhaust manifold
joe p pro z mbc set at 15psi

My car feels slowwwww. Could it be due to the clutch not being able to handle the power that I am now making. It does not feel like it is slipping at all, but it does not feel like the power is getting to the wheels. I do not have a boost leak, and my compression is good. Just wondering if it could be the clutch even though I can not feel it slipping.

Do you have a logger. Are you looking at your timing? you may be knocking and your ecu is pulling timing. A logger will also allow you to investigate why you are knocking. . .

I don't have a logger at this time. Plan on getting one soon. Any suggestions on which one I should get that is cheap but good. I know dsmlink is popular but I do not have the money right now. Just curious as to why I would be knocking. Isn't that due to runing too lean? 15psi on a walbro 190 should be okay right? Thanks for the help.

15 psi SHOULD be ok but: Timing, a/f ratio, boost, compression, phantom knock all contribute to the knock sensor telling the ecu to retard timing. . .

No, that is just it. My car is pulling all the way to redline, but it is just no pulling as hard as it should be. I am not trying to start bench racing on here but this is just a example. I raced a cobalt n/a 2.2l from a roll and barely beat him. With the mods I have I should have killed him. (I know the guy all he has in intake and exhaust) Is there anything else I can check without the tuner?

Nope. BTW, never raise your boost above stock w/out a logger.

If you can read plugs you can pull them and see what's going on. Are you puffing black smoke?

15psi may be too much for you stock sidemount. . . I didn't see an intercooler upgrade in your list. But the only way to confirm you're surpassing your intercoolers cooling capacity is to LOG timing and see if there are any dips... Is the top end tank of your intercooler "hot" after a run?

Not puffing black smoke. And I have not check to see if the endtanks on the intercooler are hot after a run. I am pretty new to the tuneing thing, so if I do get a logger I may not know what am am looking at or for.

Can you do the knock light mod and see if you are getting insane knock, I have almost the same set up and I get knock like crazy and the power goes away with the timing.

I turned the boost down and the power got better.

Not sure what the knock light mod is but if you can explain it, or give me a link I would be happy to try it out. Thank you

Tried backing down on the boost to about 13psi to see if the power would be better due to the car not pulling back timing, but it did not work. The car was obviously slower than before. I have just been following the tuning guide and that is why I have not bought a logger. Anymore help would be greatly appriciated.

Is your turbo making a loud whistling noise? do the compressor blades spin at idle?

I mean we're reaching for straws here. We're trying to help but I really feel only a logger can clear up things here. Just get a cheap cable and use free tunerstein at least. . .

Turbo is not making any noise, (it is almost brand new) Haven't checked the blades at idle, and I will be getting a cable and palm this weekend, so hopefully I will have some info soon. Any place that I can just go pick up a cable instead of ordering it online?

I know this thread has gotten a little old, but I was wondering if the 16g that I have could be getting very restricted by my stock downpipe? I know I need to upgrade, but I got a really good deal on the turbo. Even thought I have that restriction, I still shouldn't be feeling as slow as the t25 should I? I will not be able to get my logger until June (my birthday) so I will let you guys know how it goes. Thanks for all of the help. I also check the blades of the turbo at idle and they do spin if that helps.
