This is exactly what happend to my sunroof before it recently got stuck open. There was a certain point in the track which it always needed to be pushed or pulled to open or close. I haven't had time to mess with it, but I can't pull it closed anymore. It moves about a half inch now. It's almost closed but it's still tilted up a little. I don't think its the motor because I can hear it and it moves a bit. This happened a few days after one side started tilting a bit and was almost dragging the other side along. I think its something with the track because its stuck at the same point where I always messed with it before. I would recommend keeping it closed til you have more than enough time to fix it. I haven't fixed mine because its still freezing in NY. Later this week it's suppose to get nice, if I figure out whats wrong with it, I'll get back to you.
A fuse either works or it doesn't.
Try lubricating the tracks to start with.
