I'm expecting to get flamed on this one. I'm pretty sure of the answer, and I'm pretty sure someone else has asked this, I just couldn't find it....

I have a Garrett T3/TE04 50-trim (oil/water) that has no exhaust housing. I was wondering if I could modify the 14b exhaust housing to bolt the turbo onto my Talon.

I have another 50-trim I can yank the housing from, if needed, but I was hoping to keep that one together (to sell it).

I realize this will probably kill the top end power, but it would only be a temporary fix.

Thanks in advance.

I figured, but was hoping I could just modify the housing a little and make it work.... oh well, anyone know where I can pick up a T3 exhaust housing pretty cheap?

I have someone who wants to buy the other (it is only oil cooled). I want to run the water/oil cooled one, it'll stay cooler, boost faster, and was just rebuilt.

So, why not buy the right exhaust housing for cheap online.
That way, if you ever do sell it you wont have to explain how you rigged up a 14b exhaust housing to fit on it.
