Laval,
I want to know why in the swap 6bolt in 2g, we have to use the 2g fuel rail?? I do the swap (long block 6bolt) at this moment and I ask this question. In the magnus site they said to accomodate the sensor, wooch sensor?

I just want to know the difference between both rail. the fpr are the same specs?

thx

Like was said FPR pressure are different between 1 & 2g & also the bolt spaceing for the connections at each end of the rail are slightly different betwwen generations. If you are running an aftermarket line setup & get the correct fittings for both ends, you can use whichever rail you want.

The 1G fuel rail is about 1/4" shorter than the 2G fuel rail.

It has a different bolt pattern so you'll need a different adapter for an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator (see pic below).

I've read that the 2G fuel rail is tapered on the inside and that the 1G rail stays the same diameter on the inside but the 2G decreases in the middle. I'm not sure how much effect this has on fuel flow or pressure.
