Hey guys.

My friend picked up 97 GSX yesterday. He had put the IPT Race A/T tranny in along with the high-stall torque converter Big16G and 6Bolt rebuild. Now I hooked-up my pocket-logger to see a list of trouble codes.

No BCS (Ok, shop lost it)
No 02 Bank 1 (Shop installed 1g 02, different plug)
No Knock Sensor
Misfire
TPS (Shop didn't correctly line up)

now the car drove OK but the trans wouldn't shift out of 2nd gear. The shop didn't work on DSM normally. They had a hard time with the car. I did a 6bolt swap in my 98 GSX 5spd and everything came out fine.

If someone can help me with the issues I would be grateful :thumb:
 
Your TPS, log closed to full open and see if it goes to 100%

Is your knock sensor hooked up, or is it not in the block at all?

Not sure about the 6bolt swap if you need an O2 simulator for the 2nd O2,
 
It idles between 1500 2400 rpms and it wont go into 3rd... Its all messed up. No knock sensor in the car and no 02 sensor in the car
