can anyone tell me what this part and hole is

hey guys I have this hole looks like a bolt goes there, any know the name/specs, or the model number so I can either get one from the dealer or hardware store, Also if any one knows the part number to the line in photo 2 that would be great.

The part in the second picture is the lower section of the turbo oil feed line coming from the filter bracket. The mitsu part number is MR204474 (for 95-96). You could also just get a braided stainless oil feed line kit. Both cost about the same.

Not sure about your first picture, hard to see from that angle.

ok if i dont have that in there, is oil gonna pour on out, or is it used just for mounting the removal tool? thanks, by the way how did u get all these part numbers I have been searching for a parts directory and cant find one any where

I am not positive that is what the whole is... just what I believe you are pointing at. I have the shop manual, it lists all the parts. I recommend spending the $30 or so and buying the CD version.

google for mitsubishi CAPS, all the part numbers with little illustrations (that are pretty crappy but sometimes help)

That hole is a water feed line...i believe it feeds the oil cooler. You need a part that goes there, and lucky for you I still have it. Let me know if you still need it, I have exactly what is pictured here.

And actually, it looks as though you are missing the entire pipe that runs next to the water pipe. There is a smaller one that feeds the oil cooler. I will find an exploded view from my service manual for you later.

I also have the stock 2g oil feed line, seeing as yours is bent to all hell. Let me know what you need.
