i am running a 16g turbo on my honda prelude and i am having an oil leak, i called a tunning shop that deals with mitsus and talked to them about it. they said that honda oil pressure is about 80 psi, and that is what i am running when i start the car up, at idle i am running about 20 psi which is normal. now the oil leak comes when i am running 5 to 10 psi consistantly and when i start the car. oil will drip if i start the car and it is running at 80 psi and the oil will spit out of the turbo and the car will smoke if i hold boost above 5 psi for a long period of time on the road. i was told by the shop that the oil pressure going to the turbo is suppose to be 55 psi at most is this true??

Yes very ture on a honda. Your running to much oil pressure through the turbo which it going right out the seals. Causing you to smoke. Eventually going to kill the turbo if you don't get something to back the pressure off.

you need some kind of oil restrictor in your oil line. i have used nitrous jet fittings that will fit. youll have to look them up. also dont use anything bigger than a -3 oil line. Get on Honda-tech.com and look up OIL RESTRICTOR there is hundreds of threads about this
