1G How many Ball Joints?

another things guys, there are four ball joints on awd talons correct? i callled this shop and said there is only two but a mechanic said i need to replace all four could it be that the two rears are built into the control arm and the guy at the shop isnt that bright to tell me that????

There is one on each front lower control arm and one on each rear upper control arm on a 1G. Maybe he was thinking about a 2G.
