OK, i have gone through the forums and seen this question time after time nobody's got an answer so i'm going to ask it again. My 95 gsx has no pulse(current) to injectors i'm pretty much stumped fuel gets to fuel line but no injector spray, if you have had this problem and fixed it or if you have knowledge about how to fix it anything will be appreciated. by the way there is a connector on th harness which i can't find where it goes. Its on the driver side and on the main harness right next to the wires that branch of to the injector and coil etc. It goes to some sensor and i can't find it, i figured it has something to do with fuel because it has the same color as the other fuel connectors. I know i suck at describing stuff but try to help. I'll have a pic by monday.

First question is was it working before?

There are tons of solutions in the archives. You do need to understand how you get a pulse at the injectors and look for other things that also might not be working.

Core is the ECU. It takes the signals from the MAS and the crank and cam sensors to get a airflow per rev calculation, takes the input from the TPS and ECT and figures out how much fuel is needed then pulls it's wire to the injector low at the right time to cause fuel to spray and then fires the spark plug. The injector gets power from the MPI/MFI fuse, through the MPI/MFI relay and injector resistors to the injector. Whenever the ECU is on there should be power at one of the injector pins and the other pin goes to the ECU.

If you don't have any crank pulses nothing happens. The ECU has limp values for the MAS, IAT, Baro, TPS, ECT so one of these being bad woun't cause a failure to fire the injectors but a bad ECU or bad crank sensor will. If somehow the TPS output is shorted to power then you could fool the ECU into flooded mode where it won't inject more fuel.

How do you know the injectors aren't working. Have you gone through the no start diagnosis? http://dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=217951

check your main relays, fuses (MPI especially), then the injector resistor... that should at least narrow it down

I have checked the relays aleady i have used a noid no pulse to injectors i jumped them with 12 volts they work bastards just won't spit when connected to harness. I have done everything in the manual except check the other sensors. i have the fuel rail detached, pump works lots of fuel in rail. i even did the ol starting fluid trick car started but died fast. I know everything works i'm just stumped. Now talk sensors to me because all in know about sensors is what they do individually and not collectively so if one sensor being bad affects another thats news to me ( sue me)

oh by the way, the cars been sitting for almost 5 years and yes i did change that nasty foul smelling gas and put in a 190 right after i was done. all maintenance has been done oil plugs etc. please help me i don't want to pay 500 dollars for someone to plug in a connector or change a sensor

So did the car ever run for you or are you trying to resurect a dead car?

Take a picture of the connector in question and please read the no-start link and make sure you've gone through each step and can answer all the questions.

Its a 95 GSX with 35675 miles on it i mean how much could be wrong and the person i bought it from said it ran up until the fuel pump went out go figure, anyway they parked it and hasn't moved since. when i took out the fuel pump it looked like i pulled it out of a sewer without the weeds but all the slime i mean all the slime.

i bought it from my mechanic who got it from a guy dropped it off and never came back he hates mitsu's so he gave it to me for 500 bucks plus 500 for mechanics lein anyway he checked out the car with me we found out the problem as far as he was concerned it was a bad fuel pump and all he did as park it and never moved it. He wants to fix it for a price but i have mechanical skills so before i pay want to try, if i fail i just have to pay. Could it be corrosion on another sensor, should i remove and clean them and which one should i start with.
