Where to get stock springs? Or a max 1" drop?

Even an after market at stock height that is stiffer would work for me. Every spring I've found is much more than that. This car is for going around in the snow, and the former owners chopped my stock springs by 3 or 4 coils, so anything is an upgrade really. I probably need some new shocks, was looking at GR2's, from what I've read that's a pretty nice feeling setup. Any other opinions on the matter?

I don't want adjustable stuff, don't want a huge drop, keep in mind I'm used to driving an '83 Volvo 240 (275k stock suspension) and an '89 minivan (not much better). Even the chopped springs on this Talon are an upgrade, and an upgrade from that, that' won't scrape on every speed bump would make my day every time I got into it.

Thanks!

If you want I have a set of stock struts and springs for a 1g, (they came off a fwd I dont know if they fit awd, but the fronts have less than 1000 miles on them) :sneaky:

If you want to lower your car I have Eibach prokits and KYB gr-2's on my 1g they drop about an inch, good handling increase. I got a really good deal on mine but I'm sure you can find some good prices If you search the vendors in the vendor section. Or Maybe the classifieds :thumb:

I would suggest going with a eibach pro kit springs. I believe it is a 1.2" drop all around. I have tokico blue shocks which I really like as well. If you go more than the 1.2" drop like with 2" drop from eibach then you will need to get a whole camber kit, the ride will also be sacrificed a lot more than with the pro kit. Just make sure to get a good alignment after you install them.

Prokit on a 1g is only 1" drop front and rear. I got this from there website. The 2g prokit is a little lower. I suggest prokit and gr-2 struts. Rides like stock and handles a little better.
