Quick fuel fitting question

Would the fitting on the fuel pressure regulator side of the fuel rail be the inlet fitting or the oulet fitting?? Im looking on slowboy for the fitting that goes from the fuel rail to the regulator, I may sound dumb right now haha but it confused me. thanks
