I'm planning on moving to San Antonio (Bexar County). Where I've heard there isn't emissions regulations. Is this true? This is what I've come up w/. Texas has emissions as a state but it's up to the county for the thumbs up. I looked at a list of county's WITH emissions and Bexar County isn't on there. So does that mean I won't have to hassle w/ trying to get a 3" Cat-delete exhaust passed. ;) ( that was a joke btw, some people don't get jokes)

If it's not on the list then not you don't need to worry about emissions. Even if you do live in a place where they test emissions, there is a way around it to (I'm not saying on here though). Anywho, welcome to Texas and no peeing on the Alamo.LOL

yes its true. I'm from Texas and i currently live in Cali but i dont have to smog here...and i love that! the only thing you have to do is just register...

so, in theory of course, if I happened to have some not so "street friendly" mods. Is there any kind of check for that at registry? Or do I just have to worry about the 5-0 randomly checking for them?

When they say they dont have emmisions that means they dont do a sniffer test. You will still get a visual inspection and they will fail you hif you dont have something that looks like a cat under there. I lived in San Antonio for 3 years and they do inspect.
