1g-2g 7 bolt questions

I got a 1g 7bolt motor in my 99 gsx the original motor ended up being junk. now i transfered mostly everything from my 2g block to the 1g block with little to no adjustments. now I did have to replace the water pump since they were not the same and modify the engine mount.

my question is is the hydraulic timing belt tensioner the same for both the 1g and 2g?

the front main cover is the same right?

does any one have a picture of a 1g block that i can use for refrence. (timing belt side) I want to to compare some parts.

now I want to install my timing belt and just need to know what else needs to be changed for me to install my timing belt.

I know the tensioner roller or idler roller arms are different. but what about the roller? is there a difference in diameter?

please let me know

I will be heading to Iraq in a few months and need to get my car up and running befor then.

You will need to do the 1G in a 2G wiring mod aswell. As I do not believe the 1G 7bolt has a crank angle sensor.

i installed almost everything from my 2g block on the 1g block including the crankangle sensor. i need the know if there is a difference between the 1g tensioner and the 2g.
